Structure of the Department of Psychology

The Academic Department of Psychology of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú was created on December 20, 2004, with the aim of promoting interdisciplinarity and generating a direct relationship with the teachers of the Psychology Specialty, which then belonged to the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences, nowadays the Faculty of Psychology.

With the implementation of the Institutional Strategic Plan (PEI) 2023-2027 of the University and consequently the Unit Development Plan (PDU), a set of working groups and commissions were established to guide the work of the Psychology Department. The commissions that are currently active are the following: Academic Excellence and Innovation; Promotion of Research, Innovation and Creation (IIC); RSU and Contribution to Society; Inclusive, Tolerant and Diverse Community in Constant Dialogue; Management; Internationalization and Digital Transformation where the Journal of Psychology and the Social Computational Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory are located.
